Canadian thanksgiving may be over but American thanksgiving is coming up soon. So I felt I could still talk about pumpkin. There are so many awesome things about pumpkins, using them for photos, eating them, carving, and decorating. Today I will be sharing the pumpkin patch!
Now Justin and I have had some issues with getting great photos at the pumpkin patch over the years. One year it poured rain, one year we didn’t have the tripod for the camera, and then last year I couldn’t make it home from school in time to get out to the patch.
So this year, I said we are getting out to the patch and we are bringing Brooklyn with us, and we will have great pumpkin patch photos. Well thank goodness for planning and we got them.
The sun was out and the patch wasn’t muddy, it was perfect. We went the last hour the patch was open and we were hoping to catch the sunset but the patch closed before sun came down. I had no doubt that the shots Brooklyn got were amazing (they always are).
There is one thing I will always wear to the pumpkin patch and that is my Hunter Boots. They are a must. Jeans are another go to for me, I just always grab them for a pumpkin patch visit. Normally I would wear my V-neck black long sleeve and I am now sitting here wondering what the heck I was thinking wearing the scoop neck. Oh well, I wanted to add some plaid so I chose this great yellow mustard plaid shirt and it was perfect for the finished look.

We had so much fun in this session and of course Brooklyn from Brooklyn D Photography did an amazing job! I can’t wait until I am finished university and back home so I can work with her all the time!
We are half way through the week! I am so excited for the long weekend here with remembrance day. I am doing a really fun collaboration on Friday, so watch out for snap chats and insta stories!
