Keeping It Casual For Valentine’s Day

I will be honest, as much as I love a rave about Valentine’s Day I never really get out and do anything special. For many years I would have dance or musical theatre. It was just another day but I would get flowers and chocolate from Mom and Dad. The year it was on a Saturday Justin had a hockey game so we did lunch together quickly before he left. It was super casual, but what I love is that for me the whole month is special so I celebrate all 28 or 29 days of the month! Regardless if it is casual or formal.

This really is my life, Justin talking to my dog while I am off taking photos 😉 I love that Brooke got this adorable photo. Sums our life up pretty well lol!

Lucky for you my amazing readers I have every type of look for you! Starting off with casual, what I have done most. This look is perfect for a casual dinner at home or maybe a movie night! New thought! This is would be great to go play mini golf, is that even still a thing for people over the age of 12? I love mini golf and haven’t played in years, I hope Justin is reading this and taking note for when I come home next week!

Velvet has been so on trend lately and finally I am jumping in on the wagon, I think back to when I was like 5 and had some velvet clothing, but this crushed velvet pink top is so cute! After playing around with it I realized it actually looks and fits front and back, so if you wanted the criss cross at the back it still looks good! I was pretty excited about that.

Of course Brooklyn is always making me look good, I seriously can’t imagine my life without her! This year I want to plan bigger and better things with her and really create some amazing content for you all!

I feel like lately life is just flying bye I can’t even focus on whats happening. I seriously have probably the busiest week of the year coming up and there are so many amazing things happening but juggling school, exams and decor planningfor an event, and events to attend at the same time. It will be one for the book! Here is to a restful weekend to prepare!

Such a cute, casual vday celebration! I love the picnic idea! I’ve always loved valentine’s day, and it was just because my mom would buy us sweet presents. (she still does!) it’s never really felt like a “romantic” holiday to me haha. BTW love that velvet tee.
