I Can’t Go A Day Without My Kindle Paper White

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I definitely got some well needed relaxation! I am trying to stay super healthy so I don’t catch the flu that is going around my school! Fingers crossed I can just skip past the flu and continue on with school! Onto today topic, it is not a makeshift Monday but I am sharing my #1 thing that I really can’t go without. I am completely addicted to.

kindle 1

If you can’t tell from the title this is my Kindle! Now I am not kidding when I say I can’t go a day without it. I read every night before bed and I really don’t sleep well or can’t fall asleep if I don’t read. I got my first kindle about 5 or 6 years ago and I was so unsure about using it. I loved the feeling of holding a book in my hands and turning pages. It was fantastic, but I started to use my kindle and quickly fell in love.

kindle 2

I first had a kindle with a keyboard on the bottom, it was my favourite! But something was wrong with how they were made and sure enough mine died one day. Amazon was so amazing with customer service and immediately sent us the new kindle touch to replace it. They even pre downloaded all of my books and set up the account so I could use it right away. Now that is what I call amazing service.

kindle 6

I used that kindle for a few years and loved it. Nothing fancy just your basic reader with a touch screen. Then sadly one day it got wet (very wet) in the rain when I was walking to class (PNW problems here) and it died on me. I was so upset because it was past the warrantee on it and it was my own fault because I didn’t put it in my bag. So for a while I was without a kindle. Both my parents have the Kindle paper white so I was able to use theirs if I wanted to read.

kindle 7

Last Christmas my parents bought me the Kindle paper white and a case to go with it. I can’t tell you how excited I was when I opened up that present. I was so surprised and excited. Needless to say I started buying books and reading right away. I feel very lucky as my dad believes reading is very important. I have loved reading my whole life even as a young girl I loved to read and escape into the world in the book. My parents are very supportive of reading and my dad has out accounts synced so he will pay for all of my books. As a student with limited funds this is amazing as I use reading as a big destress from school and life.

kindle 3

My dad chose the coolest kindle case for me with amazing colours and a beautiful design, I love it. The great thing with the Kindle paper white is you can adjust the screen brightness to work for you if you are reading in daylight to in the dark. So no more screen glare in the sun. You can also adjust the font and size.

kindle 4

The kindle will hold thousands of book and the charge lasts for weeks at a time. If you have ever been hesitant to buy a kindle I assure you it is amazing. I have been a kindle lover for years now and my opinion has never changed!! I wish that everyone could have a kindle to enjoy!

kindle 5

Do you have a kindle? Or and E-reader? What are your thoughts on it! Let me know. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you all have an amazing day!

love, S

Everyone in my family has a kindle and they all love it! I prefer to read books in their physical copies because there’s just something about them that e-readers just can’t compete with. To each their own, though! 🙂

I was very much like that when I first got my kindle! But the fact I can bring this everywhere and it weights nothing and I can buy a new book whenever where ever in about 5 seconds is what I just love! My bookshelf at home is just backed with so many actual books it is crazy!

I love a physical book because I love reading then collecting them, which is so terrible for the environment! I’ve definitely been considering a Kindle.. I might get one now!

I have always been curious about the Kindle for a while now. I always liked having the actual hard copy of the book, but love the connivence of a Kindle.

Yes I think a lot of people can’t see past the part of not having a book but you forget it so quickly!!

I’ve always gone back & forth about whether or not I want to give up reading books for an e-reader – I’m constantly torn between the novelty of turning pages vs. the ease of getting a new book by just downloading it. from what you & your followers have to say though, I’m starting to reconsider a Kindle! x, nicole ≫ http://www.nicoleeigh.com

Nicole I was totally in the same position when I got my kindle but I actually found it easier to read on the kindle and it is a lot better for your eyes if you read at night!

When I read the words ” Kindle Paper white” I expected a white kindle haha #MyBimboMoment . Anyways I love to read too! However these days, with everything overlapping each other it’s kind of hard to find time to read :/ BTW Love the tree case 🙂

I have always wanted to invest in a Kindle, specially since I’ve become a mom. I think I would really enjoy having one and having all of my readings in one place. Your post has made me want one even more 🙂
