Sparkle Into The New Year 2017

Happy New Year! I am so excited for a new year, new goals, and new plans! It is going to be an awesome year! I got so caught up with family time and enjoying my holiday that I ran out of time to get a NYE outfit post up for you, but I still had some awesome looks in mind so I thought I would share one with you today!

I am taking some ideas from last year with me on this look. I have had both the skirt and the top for awhile now and I don’t know why I don’t wear them more! This top is what I wore last year when I was celebrating the new year at the Vancouver VIP NYE event! It was great to feel sparkly and still dress warm. I paired it with jeans tall boots and a great coat!

But this year I was at a concert in Seattle, we saw the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. They are amazing it is an experience to see them. Along with being amazing musicians, they have pyrotechnics and lights going to the music and it creates an amazing show! I didn’t really want to wear a sequin dress or anything so I went very causal and I will share that outfit soon!

I love sequins, glitter and anything that sparkles! This is such a fun outfit that you can change however you like! I love the addition of the sequin top to the fun fringe bottom. If you wanted you could go all black and keep it basic or add some flashy heels and accessories!

My amazing photographer Brooklyn had awesome confetti balloons and I was so excited to use them for the shoot! We both were so excited about this idea, and guess what! We are both afraid of popping balloons. Luckily Brooklyn brought two balloons because the first one I screamed and my face isn’t too pretty. I was well prepared for the second one and we got the shot!

Yes this photo looks like I’m scared and forcing a smile (and that is partially true) But I learn to laugh at myself and be proud I actually popped the balloon πŸ˜‰

What do you think about a fun fringe skirt? I have some here and some cute heels that you can shop and see what you like!

Brooklyn has been such an amazing person in my life and I can’t thank her enough for always making me feel amazing! I am so happy to have her as my photographer and amazing friend for life! I am so excited, I think I was her most photographed client of 2016! We cut it close but I think I made it πŸ˜‰ I just laugh because we have lots of shoots planned for 2017 there is no way anyone will pass me lol. Make sure to follow Brooklyn on Instagram HERE!

What were you up to for NYE!? I have so many awesome looks planned to share this month it is the greatest start to 2017!

This is such a cute post. From that glittery sweater and fringe skirt, to your adorable balloon-popping action! I love that you were super honest about what actually happened with the first one haha! I think I would have the same reaction. But props to your photog friend for capturing it the second time around πŸ™‚
