Happy October!! It is now okay to talk about everything halloween and that makes me the happiest person on this earth!! I love fall and halloween, costumes, decor, leaves, and EVERYTHING related!! Except scary things I don’t do scary. To start off the month I wanted to share a really easy DIY halloween costume, perfect if you live in a rainy place, or want something super simple and musical related! With that I bring to you the Raining Men Halloween Costume!
I wanted to put together Halloween costumes that wouldn’t take much to put together, I know my schedule is really busy in October and I bet many of you are in the same position. If I had things my way I would love to plan a huge halloween party, I used to read Martha Stewart magazines with my Mom and as a little girl I was obsessed with seeing Martha’s home decorated for halloween, I mean talk about goals!
To create this Raining Men costume all you need is:
- ribbon or string
- access to paper and a printer.
I googled images of celebrities heads, it was really easy because you can find a lot of their heads already cropped like this. Then I printed them off and cut them out, with a small hole on the top of the cut out tie them onto the umbrella arms at different lengths and poof it is raining men in your umbrella!
*Big tip!!! Print two of each head or print two sided so that if it is windy or the faces move around you aren’t left with a white oval like on mine! Oops!*
Big thanks to Brooklyn for the beautiful photos! She is always ready to go along with whatever I decided and sometimes she probably has no idea what she is getting into!! That why I love ya Brooke!!
Next week I will have another costume that I had lots of fun taking photos of! It was a bit of a throwback for me. I hope you are all having a great week, I am so excited to head home for thanksgiving this weekend!
