The one thing I miss when winter comes around is wearing skirts. I know I could wear tights with a skirt, but sometimes I am just too cold for that. Now that we’re past the cold snap and I feel spring is on its way, I can start adding skirts back into my wardrobe. What better way to start it off then with the perfect swing skirt!
When I look at this skirt it just reminds me of swing dancing, the fun carefree energy and life! This is a great skirt to pair up with any kind of top! A classic tee, a turtleneck, even a beautiful blouse would look lovely. To me that show a versatile skirt. Or you could wear it to a swing dancing class!
This soft winter white sweater sat in my closet for at least a year never being worn, my mom and I loved it when I bought it then I never wore it. But this year I kept picturing outfits with this sweater and I was wearing it at least once a week all winter! It has been my favourite sweater and keeping me warm this winter. I felt it was perfect to pair with a skirt, so I can stay warm but start to bring skirts back. As my Mom says “don’t forget about your winter whites, they will help brighten up any day” <3 ahh I love my Mom.
Shop The Post
As always Brooklyn did a fabulous job with these photos, we have so much fun shooting, I wish I could shoot with her everyday. We have a fabulous Valentine’s shoot happening this weekend and I am so excited. I had a brainstorm session with my mom about locations last night and I think this may be the best idea yet! I can’t wait to share with you in the coming weeks!
I want to end todays post just touching on positivity, lately the world and everywhere I turn there is a lot of negativity. I don’t like going on Facebook or turning on TV because there is someone saying something mean. I think we need to focus on ourselves and focus on the beautiful and positive things happening in life.
A fun little thing to do is after each day name at least two positive things that happened. It will help you be happier and live a better life <3
Thank you so much for reading and have a wonderful and positive Wednesday!
