Thats So 70’s Style

The 70’s since I never lived through that time I get most knowledge from movies and TV shows, my parents don’t provide much insight as they were kids in the 70’s. But the 70’s style is something easy to learn about.

There were bellbottoms and high platforms, bold patterns and wide collard shirts. I think now we can look back and pick out so of the fun trends and tone them down to create some fun looks for our decade.

I feel like in the movies I see lots of orange in the 70’s, maybe it was a bit different in life. Regardless I think they used some fun colours! I found this great off the shoulder shirt from Fashionmia. It was a bold colour and I was really excited about ordering it. When it arrived the shirt was very long and I will be shortening it. For the meantime it works perfectly when I tuck it in! Who knew that could create an even better look 🙂

I am loving off the shoulder tops! Hopefully I can find some ways to use them in early fall! Here we haven’t really gotten summer yet and that normally means that we will have a warm/hot September and warm October! Fingers crossed it would be amazing to have a warmer fall.

What are your thoughts about the colour orange? I don’t think it is used enough. It can be a bold and fun colour to play with and I think I should add some more orange, maybe in some accessories! What are your thoughts? My Bracelets are from Boho Betty, I just love all the styles and they look fantastic. You can get 20% off with code styledbys.

If you haven’t gone and check out Milan Block yet you are missing out! This awesome chevron clutch is from there and it is just a favourite. I am reaching for it all the time! Perfect size and it gets so many compliments!
